2025 was busy! Year in review

A lot of fun projects and events occurred for me in 2025, which makes me hopeful for continued momentum going into 2026. My year in review:

  • Westwood BBS was brought back to life from oblivion with Image BBS 3.0 and eventually ported over to Color64 8.1a
  • Color64 WIKI established
  • Completion of 8.1a manual rewrite
  • A lot of reversed-engineering efforts in 8.1a code
  • VCF East - got to meet a lot of great new friends in the community
  • Wargames released for Color64 8.1a
  • LTK-modded builds for Color 64 released, couldn’t have done it without Darkstar’s help! Thanks!

Probably missing a few line items, but in general, it was a fun and productive year!

Speaking of VCF East. I put those days on the vacation calendar at work last week. Haven’t ordered tickets yet but I think I’m going to day Sat and Sunday this year instead of Fri-Sat. Friday was a complete wash last year with empty stalls and people loading up.

I’m looking forward to catching up with everyone again this year. I think we should have a Sysops dinner or some sort of get together.
