The Version 11 of Amiga Forever and C64 Forever was just announced by Cloanto which I quickly snatched up since it was a $19.95 upgrade… NICE!
An awesome observation that I didn’t try with version 10 of the software is that V11 is compatible with the PlayOnLinux manual installation! It was smooth as silk! Both the Amiga and C64 versions installed quickly and run perfectly in the Wine environment.
Point to note if my fellow Linux users try the PlayOnLinux manual install is to make sure when starting the installation setup in the MSI file that you deselect the “Launch” option in the setup prompts; otherwise it will hang the install after the application launches. Simply do the install, let everything close up, then perform a launch. Easy-Peasy-Lemon-Squeezy.
