Okey so as im on a roll here i thought i ask if anybody is intrested i have “SELF” made schematics for the switchbox .
The guy that made them stoped making them so i could not buy it so i made it.
it is the old DATA DIRECTOR or 2x ID8 for example , it works at HOT SWAP so no turning off or having to change the ID dipp’s to have 2x ID8 for example, the c64 is none the wiser.
the electrical diagram allso fetures the reset signal button, disconected from the c64 reset line so you can reset drives ONLY circumventing the old Bredbin’s serial reset tied together with drive’s, pesky problem (note the c64 no longer resets drives att hard reset or reset this is made manual.)
it also fetures the indicator led’s for drive indication.
The switch is “3PDP Break Before Make”

i use it every day to be able to have sd2iec id8 and my 1581 id8 for ease of use.
ps i will only suply diagram in privat e-mail with regards to the original re-producer i might have un willingly re-enginered his box perfectly and do not whant trouble .
